Reckless Management is an independent artist management collective that features the best in underground talent. Led by founder Rick Perez, Reckless Management is dedicated to nurturing the creative paths of our artists by providing the tools to succeed within the music industry.

Management Style

The Reckless Management style is centered around Trust, Knowledge, Development, and Care.

Trust - There can be no manager and artist relationship without trust. Through honest communication, 24/7 dedication, and attention to artistic integrity, Reckless Management works hard to earn and cultivate that trust.

Knowledge - Reckless Management is committed to the on-going pursuit of knowledge and understanding of the entertainment industry. We attain this knowledge through literature, podcasts, mentors, hands-on experience, and guidance from other music industry professionals (we are not afraid to ask for help!). Furthermore, Reckless Management founder Rick Perez has gained a unique insight into various areas of the music industry through 10 years of experience as a music photographer, promoter, and journalist in both New York City and Southern California.

Development - Reckless prides itself on working with artists to hone their strengths across all aspects of development. We are always looking for ways to cultivate branding, live performance, social media, fan engagement, culture, and overall goals to help achieve the artist's vision.

Care - An artist’s career is constantly changing, and Reckless Management is here as support through all of the highs and the lows.  We prioritize being emotionally available for our artists so that we can properly motivate and inspire them to overcome whatever challenges may arise.
